Ministry of Reconciliation

Gospel of the Kingdom
The kingdom of God is at hand

Is the work of organized religion the Kingdom of God on earth today?
How does the Bible describe the Kingdom of God, and when did God begin revealing information about His Kingdom to mankind?
Daniel Forsees the Kingdom of God
Daniel was not only able to describe the King Nebuchadnezzar's dream but to explain its prophetic meaning.

44 And in the days of these (worldly) kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Dan 2:44 (KJV)

[The stone cut out without hands, represented the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, which should be set up in the kingdoms of the world, upon the ruins of Satan's kingdom in them. This was the Stone which the builders refused, because it was not cut out by their hands, but it is become the head stone of the corner. Of the increase of Christ's government and peace there shall be no end. The Lord shall reign, not only to the end of time, but when time and days shall be no more. ]

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.Mark 1:14-15 (KJV)

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Matt 24:14-15 (KJV)

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. Matt 13:19 (KJV)

16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. 17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matt 4:16-17 (KJV)

Which Way of Life? Trust in God is the result of a choice. God's way of life was not the only choice our first parents faced.
The Need for a Redeemer
God denied access to the tree of life to Adam and Eve and their descendants until the promised Seed, the Messiah, would appear and redeem them and permanently reconcile them to God.
The Beginning of God's Chosen People
God began a process that would bring blessings to every inhabitant of earth. Through Abraham and his descendants, God would begin a temporary physical kingdom, the nation of Israel.

We learn of a direct relationship between the dynasty of kings God promised would descend from Abraham and David and the Kingdom of God preached by Jesus Christ.

The King of the Coming Kingdom
The birth of a messianic King revealed through the prophecy. Jesus, the Messiah, rule over all. He was born to be a king!
The Gospel Jesus Taught from the beginning focused on the Kingdom of God.
The Apostles Teach the Same Gospel To enter into and share in the Kingdom of God is consistently given as the ultimate goal of believers in Christ.

A Counterfeit Gospel Arises Satan deceives mankind by counterfeiting and corrupting the teachings of God. Our world is dominated by the great deceiver, Satan the devil

The Reign of a New Kingdom will be miraculous, unprecedented event accompanying Christ's return?
From the beginning God has shown His desire to build an eternal relationship with the human race.
The gospel includes three aspects of His plan to build this spiritual relationship. All center on Jesus Christ.
The Essence of the 'Everlasting Gospel'
God's message to mankind is eternal and consistent. He has always emphasized the importance of our having a relationship with Him as our Creator.

Jesus Christ came bearing the good news, the gospel, of the Kingdom of God. taking upon himself the sins of the entire world

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Col 1:9-10 (KJV)

What is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God? it's the truth message of what God has done (through Jesus Christ) on our behalf to SAVE US FROM ETERNAL DAMNATION. He worked out all the provisions necessary (that was required of a Holy GOD) that we may once again enter into his presence that we may be complete in him.
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Cor 5:19 (KJV)

Jesus, the Peace Maker!
